Flashback: Pre-Charger Workshop in November'23

As someone starting a career in the battery industry, I had high hopes for the Pre-Charger Workshop organized by Fraunhofer Academy and ELLB of Fraunhofer FFB. My goal was to gain a general overview of battery cells and a better understanding of the battery market and how lithium-ion batteries work. The three-day workshop not only met my expectations but exceeded them, providing me with the knowledge and insights I was looking for.

The workshop was presented logically and coherently, with each topic building on the previous one and leading further into the subject in understandable steps. It covered all the topics that were relevant to me, including the structure of a battery cell, market description, production, developments, and prospects.

The learning atmosphere between participants and lecturers was very open and pleasant throughout the course. I appreciated the numerous interactive exchanges and the encouragement to participate, which made it easier for me to quickly comprehend and remember the complex content.

In summary, I can say that the very well-organized and instructive workshop motivated me to delve even deeper into the topic in the further curriculum of the ELLB."
